Every lunchtime all year round, the Auberge Hazemann---a restaurant serving traditional cuisine associated with the history of Champ du Feu---offers its local specialities in a warm atmosphere to skiers and hikers enjoying the pleasures of the resort.
Pies, ham en croute, baeckeoffe, blueberry tarts and waffles will delight those who enjoy a gourmet break.
Auberge Hazemann, 100 years of conviviality
The atmosphere at the Auberge Hazemann is particularly warm. The large, light wooden room, traditionally decorated with a few colourful fabrics, is just like the wooden chalets: cozy cocoons where you feel good, and which entice with their old-fashioned ambience.
This wooden inn has been welcoming travellers for over 100 years. It was here that the Hôtel Mont Champ du Feu was created, providing the backdrop for a unique interlude in the Vosges mountains.
On the hotel's large terrace (seating for around fifty), you can also enjoy a change of scenery; take advantage of this place with a view of the Vosges countryside to relax over a coffee and a few delicacies...

Sumptuous delicacies
Let yourself be seduced by the traditional and generous dishes originally devised by Chef Thierry Bouillon, which have made the reputation of the restaurant: bouchées à la reine, veal kidneys, choucroutes, blueberry tarts, mountain specialities, fondues, raclettes or chapeaurades with 3 meats.
Since 2024, Marc Koeniguer has taken over the running of this Auberge within the Mont Champ du Feu establishment.
In the afternoon, the Auberge Hazemann offers a variety of homemade tarts and desserts for a gourmet snack, enough to round off the day and delight young and old alike.
L'Auberge Hazemann, a legacy of tradition
As the seasons go by, the Auberge Hazemann adapts to the events in the resort. In winter, the kitchen is a favourite spot for skiers, who come to eat in the self-service restaurant at lunchtime to make the most of their day in the fresh air.
In the evenings, you can enjoy traditional, comforting, and gourmet mountain cuisine by prior arrangement.
In the summer, entertainment, farmers' markets, and other festive events inspire the chefs to create gourmet buffets and themed meals.
A special buffet menu is available on Thursdays and Sundays:
- On Thursdays in summer, you'll find a barbecue offering a carefully selected range of meat and fish dishes accompanied by the chef's creations
- On Sundays, we offer a generous gourmet buffet that changes with the seasons, but always with the same winning recipe: a wide choice of cold starters; a range of hot dishes prepared on the premises; a selection of farmhouse cheeses; and a gourmet dessert buffet with a selection of tarts, mousses, and other sweet treats.

Every lunchtime from 11.45am. Evening meals can be booked for groups.
The Auberge is self-service during the winter period when the ski resort is open.
In spring, summer and autumn, there is a gourmet buffet on Sunday lunchtimes and a barbecue option on Thursday lunchtimes.
